For this report, let’s focus specifically on the split screen issue, as that sounds like the main X problem here. Sure I’am mostly interested to know that it can work rather than that mobiility need it to work still support would be a great thing. Join Date Jan Posts 22, I also will upload some log files since I now have been able to grab them so look out for them here. There for any developer attention to those packages would be intresting to see if it is possible to extract the drivers from the RPM files and get them to work on Ubuntu.
Please note we also provide technical support for older versions of Ubuntu, but not in the bug tracker. The problem still occurs if the ‘APM’ on the system has been ‘activated’ battery low, close case, manually put system into sleep.
Crashes don’t see any x server errors though. Cause system to fsck.
